How We Review Corrections
After receiving a correction request, we may:
- Review the original article
- Check the official source
- Compare available information
- Contact the relevant organisation when necessary
- Correct the article if the information is verified
Not every correction request will automatically result in a change.
We may decline a request when the information cannot be verified or when the requested change is based only on an unsupported claim.
Major Corrections
If an important factual error could materially affect an applicant’s understanding of an opportunity, we aim to correct it promptly after verification.

Minor Corrections
Minor spelling, formatting or grammatical errors may be corrected without a separate correction notice when they do not materially change the meaning of the article.
Updating Opportunity Information
Some changes are not necessarily errors.
For example, an employer may extend a closing date or change an application procedure after an article was originally published.
In such cases, we may update the article to reflect the latest available information.
Closed Opportunities
We may retain articles about expired opportunities for reference and to help readers understand previous programmes.
